Maplus perfluorinated wax powder 30 grams, temperature -22° to -8° C, humidty 30% to 70% . To be applied on top of fluorinated paraffin products for racing use in the presence of low to medium humidity. Apply by sprinkling powder evenly over the base. Then for best results melt the wax by passing an iron over the base (iron temperature 160 degrees C). Wait at least 10 minutes for the wax to harden, then brush up using a manual hard horsehair brush incrementally down the length of the base to more evenly distribute powder. Melt the wax once again by passing the iron over the base, then remove excess wax gently scraping with a plexi scraper. Next free the base structure with a stiff manual or roto horsehair or nylon brush then polish the base structure with a soft manual or soft roto nylon brush. Apply using respirator in a well ventilated area.

Apply by spraying at least 3 times to cover roughly 15cm of the base, then immediately spread the wax using a cork or felt, rubbing and pressing. Repeat these two steps covering the entire base. With very abrasive snow (ie. man-made or icy) it is recommended to melt the wax by passing an iron over the base with a sheet of teflon between the iron sole plate and base (iron temperature 160° C). Immediately roll the waxed base using the cork roller fitted on a drill (1000 to 2000 rpm) using light pressure. Wait at least 10 minutes for the wax to harden, free the base structure with a stiff manual or roto horsehair brush, then polish the base structure with a soft manual or soft roto nylon brush.
