All types of snow - hardened snow
-30°/-10°C
160°C
DESCRIPTION
Paraffin powder for training and competitive use. To be used for snow from -30° to -10°C. For competitive use at air humidity <30%. At the highest competitive level in the extreme case of very abrasive packed snow, this paraffin can be used on top of the perfluorinated FP4 wax to increase its durability. Clearly the hydrophobia of the base will be less. It is also used as a universal hardener to protect the base along the edges in case of very abrasive natural or artificial snow. Hot application with a waxing iron.
APPLICATION METHODOLOGY
GENERAL PRINCIPLES
The application of hydrocarbon paraffins (Racing Base or BP10), fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffins (LP15, LP2 or HP3) and perfluorinated waxes FP4 allows for certain overlaps based on the following chemical affinities:
Hydrocarbon paraffin alone or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin alone or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Perfluorinated wax FP4 alone or mixed with other perfluorinated waxes but in any case superimposed on a fluorinated or high fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin (LP2 or HP3) .
The direction in waxing operations must always be from the tip to the tail of the tool.
Race waxing can be performed hot or cold depending on the physical state of the products and the experience of the skiman
- Dab the wax for 20 cm. with the waxing iron at a temperature of 150°C. and then spread it out in a regular forward motion (from tip to tail). Repeat the operation for the entire slab and finally make a continuous pass from tip to tail (about 3 cm. per second);
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify and the base to cool;
- Remove excess wax with a well-sharpened Plexiglas spatula, exerting little pressure;
- Remove the solidified paraffin from the side of the ski and the side of the edges;
- Free the impression with soft steel hand brush;
- Brush the impression with manual or rotary brush made of stiff horsehair;
- Polish the impression with manual or rotating soft nylon brush.an.

DESCRIPTION
Solid base paraffin for use on snow from -5° to 0°C. It is an excellent product for race slab protection, training and sliding tests. It has a melting temperature of 60°C. It is therefore the optimal product for hot saturation of the bases with the heat bag or thermo blanket. Hot application with a waxing iron.

APPLICATION METHOD WITH WAXING IRON
- Drip the paraffin pellet onto the base by placing it in contact with the base of the waxing iron at a temperature of 130°C.
- Then spread the wax in a regular forward and backward movement and finally make a continuous pass from tip to tail at a constant speed (approx. 4 cm per second).
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify and the base to cool;
- Remove excess wax with a well-sharpened Plexiglas spatula, exerting little pressure;
- Remove the solidified paraffin from the side of the ski and the side of the edges;
- Free the impression with a stiff nylon hand brush;
- Brush the impression with a manual or rotating stiff horsehair brush;
- Polish the impression with hand brush or rotating soft nylon brush.

APPLICATION METHOD WITH WAXING IRON
- Rub the paraffin lump all over the base, leaving an even layer of product.
- Using the waxing iron at a temperature of 110°C., melt the wax in a regular forward and backward motion and then make a continuous pass from tip to tail at a constant speed (approx. 5 cm per second).
- Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify and the base to cool;
